Online Yoga Classes

Yoga, the mind and body practice with a 5,000-year history in ancient Indian philosophy.

Whether you’re stuck inside, working from home or just back after a long shift doing something vitally important to keep our city going, yoga could be the answer. The focus on breathing, the concentration required to find balance in certain poses, the flow of the movements – it’s all an active meditation that can help clear the mind, quieten anxieties and strengthen your body.

The practice of our online yoga classes will benefit everyone, whether you're a seasoned athlete, novice, recovering from injury or just curious, the benefits are numerous, from becoming stronger, lighter, more mobile, less stressed, feeling calmer, to finding out you've been breathing incorrectly all this time.

BlazeFit yoga classes are designed for real people - whether you’re a busy mum in need of a quick morning energy boost, or a traveller looking to relax with a yoga before sleep. Whatever your level of experience, life stage, and aspirations—from prenatal strength to mid-workday calm—we’ll help you create a yoga practice that’s uniquely your own

This yoga practice will focus on increasing the strength and mobility of all the joints, increasing muscle strength from head to toe, and increasing your overall flexibility and mobility, these benefits alone will also reduce the risk of getting injured in other activities, along with the physical benefits there are also the physiological, emotional and mental benefits of having a regular yoga practice.

Who Should Take Online Yoga Classes?

Yoga is a low-impact activity that is appropriate for most people. However, if you’re new to this exercise style or you’ve never taken a class, it’s a good idea to start with a beginner flow sequence regardless of your fitness level. This will allow you to learn the basic principles and cues the instructor will use at higher levels. A skilled instructor will be able to offer modifications and alternatives to certain poses. They will also teach you how to incorporate props such as a yoga block, bolster, straps, or blankets to make the practice safer.

We will use the postures to identify where our bodies imbalances, weaknesses and tightness's are, we will then progressively work to address those issues in a safe, controlled and structured practice.

You can only call it yoga when the three elements the mind, the breath and the body are present and working in harmony. When the mind is present on every inhale and every exhale, and when the breath is in harmony with the movements of the body, then we are practicing yoga, this is more challenging than it sounds and demands focus and concentration, our physical practice then becomes more than just a physical practice, it begins to transcend to a mindful practice.

If you can’t make all our LIVE online classes then you have a choice of either joining in one of the recorded sessions. These are available for 5 days after the LIVE session has ended. Maybe you want to follow some of pre recorded yoga classes which are always available to follow.
